Hello Rabbits!
How are you? I hope you are all keeping safe and well at home, and being good for your grown-ups. Marvin, Super Rabbit and I are all missing you so much – it has been very strange and very quiet in school without you. But guess what? It has given me some time to tidy my desk!
I have seen that you have been very busy learning at home over the last couple of weeks. Your work on MyMaths and Education City has shown me how hard you are trying, and I have seen lots of pictures of you doing all sorts of exciting projects and activities at home. It makes me smile every time to see you happy and enjoying yourselves.
While we have been at home, Marvin, SuperRabbit and I have been catching up on lots of jobs, plus doing lots of reading (Marvin has got “Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus!” with him!). We have put some teddy bears in the kitchen window, because in Oakham, they are doing a Bear Hunt for children going out for their daily walk. I have seen lots of rainbows in the village, and also a very bright egg outside school – I wonder if there are more eggs in the rest of the village? Have you seen the rainbow in Mrs Hill’s office window? The children loved doing it and it cheers me up every time I drive in to school! I hope it makes you smile too.
I hope you and your families have a lovely Easter. It will be strange being on “holiday” from school, when we have already been off for two weeks, but I hope you enjoy your time with your family. Try not to worry about anything, just remember that what we are doing will keep us safe so we can soon be back in school with our friends again. Until then, keep safe, be good and have fun!
See you soon
Love from Miss Hosmer, Marvin and SuperRabbit
In the Magic box poems
Following our exciting day at Edith Weston Academy the Rabbits created their own poems. Then they recorded themselves on the green screen and added a picture in the background.
