Afternoon task - Art

Sir David Attenborough takes great care of animals and there is only one animal he doesn't like. I wonder if you know which, if you don't you could find out the answer.

Today your task for art is to think about your favourite animal. I would like you to create this using junk. I have provided some examples as inspiration below. If you do not have the resources for this, you could draw out a plan of what you would like your animal to look like, along with a list of the materials you need. You can try and save these materials up and then make your animal when these have been gathered.

Literacy task

So Sir David Attenborough enjoys exploring the world around him and making it a better place for us all to live. He is very passionate about animals and exploring their habitats. What I would like you to do this think about three aspects you love about the world. What do you enjoy doing? What would you not change? If you looked out of the window what would you like to see? What is your favourite animal? What type of weather do you like?

Reception - I would like you to draw three pictures of what you love about the world.

Year one - I would like you to write three aspects you love about the world and draw pictures to match, if you would like to. If you would like to challenge yourself further, you could use the conjunction 'because' and explain your reasons why.
